The Path of least Resistance
Leaves yield to the breeze
A solitary white-faced heron
Wades in the shallow pools
Keen for opportunity
Sea gulls hang about
For left over fish ‘n’chips
A harrier hawk
Effortlessly sailing currents of air
The stream carrying life
Chattering water
Unhurried
Glides over and around rocks
Towards it’s destination.
Choice makes our human lives complex.
Shall I go this way or that?
Nature doesn’t have such dilemmas
It simply exists
No striving
No hurrying
No stress
I am part of nature
What is my path of least resistance?
