Cherry blossom clouds

Splashing colour

Against the grey sky

Bluebells and daffodils

Ablaze in the lush green grass

Chaffinches and fantails

Sing for joy

Spring is here!

Life transforming

The bleak winter depths

Bursting forth

Announcing new life

From death and darkness

A season of vibrance

New energy arising.

Here I sit

Witnessing creation

In all it’s glory

Effortlessly yielding

To it’s own rhythm.
